13.25" Outer Diameter 7" Inner Mirror Once upon a time, there was a black lotus flower that grew in a murky pond. The flower was shrouded in mystery and darkness, its petals as black as the night sky… With this mirror, I explored the themes of duality, contrast, and balance, using black and white to create a sense of tension and harmony, chaos and order. Black and white are two opposite extremes that, when used together, create a powerful visual and emotional impact. In life, nothing is ever black and white, and there is much beauty to explore in between. Howlite is said to have a profound effect on the emotions, helping to release negative emotions such as anger, frustration, and anxiety. Copper, my favorite conduit for happy energy not only adds pops of light, but grounds the piece. At the base of each lotus is a gorgeous genuine Swarovski crystal adding light and reflection to the piece.
